Prescribed clauses
Tenancy creation will pre fill periodic terms with the clauses the Act prescribes.
PROPLINK LETTINGS
Tenancies, rent collection and Renters Rights Act compliance on the same platform that runs your blocks. PropLink Lettings is in build now and launches in 2026. This page describes the design we are building to.
TENANCIES
Tenancy creation will pre fill periodic terms with the prescribed clauses the Act requires. Agreements, renewals and endings will live on one tenancy record alongside deposits, inventories and every notice served, on the same sites and units your block data already uses.
THE RENTERS RIGHTS ACT
The Act rewrites private renting. Lettings is being designed so the day to day workflow complies on its own, and workflows go live as provisions commence.
No fault evictions end. Every possession needs a ground.
Open ended tenancies replace fixed term ASTs as the default.
Clear evidence based routes for arrears, sale and moving in.
A statutory condition standard enforceable by local authorities.
Every landlord and property registers on a national database.
Unresolved complaints refer to the sector ombudsman.
Tenancy creation will pre fill periodic terms with the clauses the Act prescribes.
Section 8 templates will align with the new prescribed forms as they commence.
Condition inspection events will come pre populated for every rented property.
Registration will be captured against each property with reminders when it lapses.
Managing agents rarely run one kind of property. Lettings sits on the same sites, units, contacts and ledger as PropLink Block, so a mixed portfolio lives in one system instead of two.
Provisions commence in stages set by the Secretary of State. Workflows go live as the law does.
RENT
Rent demands, receipts and statements will run on the same double entry ledger that powers PropLink Block. Arrears will chase themselves on configurable workflows with payment plans tracked against the ledger, exactly as they do for service charges today.
